More Than Just a Walk – A Proper Dog Adventure!
Every dog deserves time outdoors to explore, sniff, play and enjoy being a dog!
My 60-minute dog walking adventures take place in a variety of outdoor locations around West Bridgford and the surrounding Nottingham area, including local parks, open fields, woodland and other green spaces. I like to vary our walking locations, giving dogs the opportunity to discover new surroundings, experience different smells and enjoy the company of their walking companions.
Each adventure includes a full 60 minutes of walking and outdoor activity, excluding collection and travel time. This means your dog may be away from home for a little longer, depending on the route and collection arrangements.
Walks can be on or off the lead, depending on your dog’s needs, recall, behaviour and suitability. For dogs that enjoy running and are physically suited to more energetic activity, I can also incorporate running into their walks, tailoring the pace and intensity to their individual needs.
Small Group Dog Walks – Maximum Six Dogs
That’s why I walk a maximum of six dogs at a time, making it easier to supervise the group, understand each dog’s behaviour and ensure everyone enjoys their time outdoors.
Group walks also give dogs valuable opportunities to socialise, build confidence and spend time with other dogs in a positive environment.
I have experience with dogs of different breeds, ages, temperaments and behaviours. Some dogs love to run and play, while others prefer to take their time, sniff around and explore at their own pace.
Keeping my walking groups small also allows me to provide a more personal service and build lasting relationships with my clients. I take the time to get to know each dog, their owner and their individual needs, ensuring consistent care and a familiar, trusted experience for both dogs and their owners.
Individual Dog Walking – 1:1 and 2:1 Walks
For dogs who prefer more individual attention, I also offer private 1:1 walks and 2:1 walks for two dogs, subject to availability.
These walks can be particularly suitable for dogs who need a quieter environment, prefer walking with a familiar companion or benefit from a more personalised pace and routine.
During individual walks, I can also help your dog practise everyday skills, such as recall, through consistent encouragement and positive reinforcement.
Safe and Comfortable Dog Transport
I use a specially adapted, air-conditioned vehicle equipped with secure crates to transport dogs to and from their walking locations.
This allows me to take dogs to a variety of parks, fields and woodland areas around West Bridgford and South Nottingham, rather than limiting their adventures to the same local route every day.
Whatever the Weather – Adventures All Year Round!
During warmer weather, particularly heatwaves, your dog’s safety always comes first. Walks may be arranged earlier in the day, with routes chosen to provide more shade and access to water for cooling off. My air-conditioned vehicle also helps keep dogs comfortable during transport.
In extreme weather conditions, I may need to shorten, adapt or rearrange walks to keep both dogs and walkers safe.
Getting Started – Meet & Greet
Before your dog’s first adventure, I’ll arrange a friendly Meet & Greet so we can get to know each other. We’ll chat about your dog’s personality, behaviour, health needs, any allergies and recall, and I’ll explain how my walking services work.
I’ll also arrange a trial walk to make sure your dog feels comfortable and is a good fit for the group. Once we’re both happy to go ahead, I’ll provide a service agreement, and your dog’s adventures can begin!
